Hamilton County 72-Hour Release Source
The Hamilton County Sheriff's Office provides a custom Jail View release search, not a separate three-day URL. Its Begin Release Date and End Release Date inputs accept dates only. A selection of three calendar dates is therefore an approximation, not an exact rolling 72 hours. Depending on the time of day, it can omit part of the first day or include records older than the intended cutoff.
Use a three- or four-calendar-day search that fully surrounds the target period. Then read the exact Released timestamp in every result and keep only those at or after the true cutoff. This method is especially useful when a review starts after a weekend, but it does not assume that release processing follows a weekday schedule. HCSO publishes no routine release hours, holiday method, or guaranteed portal update interval.
Check Hamilton County 72-Hour Releases
Start with the current local time and subtract exactly 72 hours. Write down both endpoints. The broad portal query gathers likely records, while the timestamp review creates the accurate final list. Do not use the default BOOKED Last 24 Hours view. That default is tied to booking activity, not released people.
- Open HCSO Jail View and select Released Inmates Only.
- Set a Begin Release Date that starts before the exact 72-hour cutoff. Set the End Release Date to the current calendar date.
- Run the search without a name for a window-wide review, or add name fields to narrow a person check.
- Open each result and compare its Released date and time with the written cutoff.
- Confirm identity through the booking number, MNI number, demographics, photograph, and court case number.
- Review holds and seek the release disposition when the destination after HCSO custody matters.
The portal has no shareable query-string state, so anyone documenting the search should record the chosen dates, access time, Eastern Time zone, and selector. For only the same-day edge of the range, the Hamilton County 24-Hour Release List applies a shorter cutoff.

Hamilton County Three-Day Release Fields
Each Hamilton County result contains far more than the timestamp used for the three-day cutoff. The details can distinguish people with similar names and connect the jail event to a court file. Read the fields as evidence of the booking record, not as a complete story. The visible bond and charge data do not disclose the actual release mechanism.

No public field is labeled release reason or release type. Do not infer bond-out because a bond amount remains visible, and do not infer dismissal because a person is released. Ask HCSO for the release or discharge record. If the court case matters, match the Jail View case number in the Hamilton Clerk system and read the actual filed order.

The form supplies the date bucket. The result timestamp, not the number of dates typed into the form, supplies the final rolling-window test.
Hamilton County Weekend Release Review
A 72-hour review is useful after a weekend because it keeps several days in one working set. Yet the research does not establish a special Hamilton County weekend or holiday release schedule. The Clerk states that first appearance occurs every day of the year, and weekend first appearances are held at Hamilton County Jail. That court event may authorize release, but the signed order and the physical jail exit are different timestamps.
Allow for sequence. A court docket may show an order before Jail View posts the completed release. Florida VINE may report a custody change soon after the agency feed updates. Another custodian can then post intake later. When the order, jail timestamp, and receiving record show different times that form a sensible sequence, preserve the sequence. If the dates truly conflict, ask the office that created the disputed field to explain or correct it.

Hamilton County Three-Day Fallbacks
Jail View was temporarily disabled during Hamilton County scam activity in 2025 and later restored, so an offline portal should not end the search. Contact the HCSO Public Records Division and request a commitment/release list or date-and-time export for the defined 72-hour period. The administrative address is 207 NE First Street, Jasper, FL 32052. The main line is 386-792-2004, and published records hours are 8:30 a.m. through 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday.
Give the exact Eastern Time start and end. If available, include the booking number or MNI number. Ask for the exact release time, release disposition or reason, receiving agency if transferred, and holds at release. HCSO posts no special release-record fee or turnaround. Request an estimate before work and ask that nonexempt fields be produced if another field is withheld.
Florida VINE is an alternate person-notification route, not a substitute three-day list. FDC Inmate Release Information covers departures from state prison, while HCSO Jail View covers the county jail. A court record can show the legal disposition. Each channel has a separate job, and a negative result in one system does not prove community release.
Hamilton County Release Destinations
A released county result means HCSO custody ended. A holds entry or later receiving record can show that custody continued with FDC, another county, ICE, or a federal authority. For state prison, use the six-character DC Number and look for a past Release Date plus Date Out-Custody in FDC's separate release database. A move within FDC remains incarceration and should not be described as discharge.

Neither absence from the current jail roster nor a VINE no-result proves release. Use the positive event record. When the destination is unclear, request the receiving-agency field from HCSO and check the named system.
Hamilton County Release History Limits
Jail View has returned some Hamilton County released records from older test years, showing that its historical mode can reach well beyond three days. HCSO does not publish a retention guarantee, however. Old visibility does not promise that every booking will remain searchable or that a no-result means no booking occurred. Restricted access, identity mismatch, date filters, and system availability can all affect a query.
The portal also has no documented update cadence. Treat a new result as the agency record available at the time of access, then recheck or contact HCSO if a just-ordered release has not appeared. Preserve the URL, access time, date filters, booking or MNI number, and disputed field when asking for a correction.
